The relationship with this Union is just starting. We held a TAG Rugby™ clinic with the Border Rugby Union during the Lions Tour. The clinic was held at the main stadium and the assistance we got from the Union was good. The development officers got involved in the coaching and refereeing.

Although only a few schools in this region have been introduced to TAG Rugby we see huge potential in this region. Geographically this is a difficult region to manage Rugby Development and TAG Rugby™ is the perfect mechanism to introduce outlying schools to physical activity and the game of rugby.
