TAG has had a long relationship with this Union and it is here that much of the development work we have done over the last 15 years has taken place. 80% of the schools on our Adopt a School Programme come from this region.

We have had many dealings with Union and have assisted the Club Newlands magazine with prizes over the years. The Southern Suburbs of Cape Town have hosted some of the largest TAG Rugby Festivals. We have been involved in the Cape Town Tens Tournament, hosted by Robbie Fleck and Bob Skinstad and our development work has been acknowledged by the following Western Cape Government Departments.

We have also worked with the City of Cape Town in running holiday programmes for school children. Once again as with all the other Unions the potential for growth in the game of Rugby through TAG Rugby is huge in this area.
